THE ROLL
The Operations Manager we are looking for will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the logistics and operational activities of Pieter Smit Group. This role includes managing the planning, quotations, fleet management, rental and nightliners departments. You make decisions at tactical and operational level and strive for continuous improvement within the organization. That the foundation is in good shape is important for the further development of the organization abroad.
In this role you report to the CEO and together with the CFO you form the MT of the organization. The MT is advised by a board of advisors of which Pieter Smit himself is a member.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in a comparable managerial role, where the ability to manage multiple departments (national and international) is central. Indirectly, a total of approximately 50 employees are managed.
A results-oriented mentality with a strong focus on growth and optimization.
We expect you to speak Dutch and English fluently. If you also speak German and French, that is certainly a big advantage.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum HBO working and thinking level, supplemented with relevant training and courses.
Excellent communication skills and a talent for maintaining an overview in complex projects.
Experience with international fleet management and ERP systems.
